The Holy Cross x Worcester Cultural Coalition are thrilled to announce the third year of Summer Creative Residencies at the Prior Performing Arts Center. This year the program will welcome FOUR artists and support their projects with the physical and financial resources to develop their work during a 5-10 day period in July 2026. This is a paid opportunity, and we welcome all artists working across all disciplines.

In partnership with Mass Poetry, the Worcester Teen Poetry Slam returns for its third annual year for youth ages 13-19. Whether you are first time performers or a seasoned slam poet step up to the mic to compete for a chance to represent Worcester at the Write Here | Write Now | Speak Loud! Teen Spoken Word Festival. The teen slam will be hosted by BurjaTheVillain at The White Room, 138 Green St, Worcester, MA.

The NEA is committed to supporting excellent arts projects for the benefit of all Americans. Activities funded through Grants for Arts Projects (GAP) enable Americans throughout the nation to experience the arts, foster and celebrate America’s artistic heritage and cultural legacy, and benefit from arts education at all stages of life. We also support arts and health programs, including creative arts therapies, that advance the well-being of people and communities. We strongly encourage applications for arts projects that focus on one or more agency funding priorities.
